OUR RESIDENTS STORIES
We are extremely lucky at the Grange to have such a wonderful mix of residents from all over Canberra and out of town.
Carol and her husband Geoff moved to The Grange about a year before Geoff passed away. Geoff wanted to make sure Carol had a wonderful home, surrounded by a community she knew and help with maintenance when he was gone.
Anthony moved from his vineyard in Gundaroo to a serviced apartment at the Grange following a health scare. He's loving the home-cooked meals (even put on a few pounds) and someone to clean his apartment. It's given him more time to zoom around on his electric bike and take up pole walking with a couple of the residents.
Jim & Jeanette
Moving from their large family home in Belconnen has freed up more time. Now, when Jim and Jeanette aren't hosting their granddaughters from Sydney in the school holidays, they're out and about with old friends and new friends from The Grange
An avid Golfer and Bridge player, Tony moved from his family home in Red Hill after his wife passed away and couldn't be happier. Tony still has a wonderful group of friends outside the Grange but now considers many of his Grange friends 'family' as well.
